The healing process and journey towards an integrated self begins within the structure of a safe and trusting relationship with your therapist. I provide a non-judgmental therapeutic environment in order to facilitate your self-exploration and help you return to vitality. I have experience working with children, adolescents and adults, with a focus on emotional distress, anxiety, depression, adjusting to life transitions (i.e. divorce, new baby), trauma and substance abuse. I utilize a pragmatic yet holistic approach which integrates empathy, mindfulness, as well cognitive behavioral therapy to promote change towards wholeness and authenticity.
 
My ideal client comes to me with a desire for personal growth and to increase self awareness. I believe that increased self awareness and a willingness to take personal responsibility for ones feelings, thoughts, and behaviors is the key to overcoming mental health issues of any kind. As well as, a necessary ingredient to healthy relationships with others.
 
I offer my clients two things in the counseling relationship. An opportunity to get to know themselves better and an opportunity to experience a relationship with someone who treats them with the kind of care and respect that they deserve. My hope being that my client will learn to trust their own inner guidance and to choose healthy relationships.
